The Development Office at the French International School oversees a comprehensive program designed to advance the mission of the school by ensuring the continuation of voluntary funding support. The sources for this support are:
Annual Giving
EFIP solicits individuals, corporations, and foundations during the course of each fiscal year.
Special Campaigns
Targeted fund raising campaigns are organized to fund a strategic need or improvement such as a building purchase (1996) or school expansion (2007).
Foundation Grants
Written proposals for specific projects are submitted to obtain funds through charitable funders, including those administered by corporations and private families.
Corporate Gifts
Outright gifts or those that match the contributions of their employees. The French International School of Philadelphia is also eligible to receive donations through Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program aimed at encouraging businesses to support education.
Planned Giving
A bequest mechanism by which charitable donations may be incorporated into an individual's estate planning.
